本校【學生請假辦法】施行公告!自本(114)學年起,新增「歲時祭儀假」、「多元文化假」及修正「公假」事由, 相關規定,請詳閱公告內容。

本校「學生請假辦法(下稱本辦法)」於114年6月6日113學年度第2學期學生事務會議修正通過,自(114)學年度第1學期起施行。
說明:
一、修正重點提要:
(一)依據內政部《紀念日及節日實施條例》第五條第一項第一款第九目規定,及保障原住民族文化振興與傳承,爰具原住民族身分學生為族群自我認同及所屬族群文化之重要傳承者,
新增「歲時祭儀假」,請查閱本辦法第三、五、七條(如下網址聯結),明定:
1、具原住民族身分學生,可提出申請。
2、視同公假,由系主任(所長或學位學程主任)核准。
3、請假日數,每學年限五天。
4、應檢具相關證明文件。
5、學生修習課程之學期考試期間,依第六條規定辦理。
(二)鑒於本校學生族群文化組成多元,為因應國際潮流、促進多元民族及文化(下稱多元文化)平等,尊重文化差異及肯認,新增「多元文化假」,請查閱本辦法三、五、七條
(如下網址聯結),明定:
1、全校學生皆可提出申請。
2、由授課老師核准。
3、請假日數,每學年限二天。
4、應檢具參與活動之證明。
5、學生修習課程之學期考試期間,依第六條規定辦理。
(三)為完善「學生請假辦法」並配合實務運作,新增「學期考試假」之假別名稱,以利學生了解;於學期末考試期間,應提出「學期考試假」之申請等規定,請查閱本辦法第三、六、
七條(如下網址聯結)之規定。
(四)學校重視並鼓勵學生參與多元學習(與教學或學術相關)等各項活動,為周全因公請假學生出行安全之保障,將因公指派學生參與之教學或學術相關活動,列入公假申請事由。
為統一用字,修正「器官捐贈假(含骨髓、器官):…,以一個月為限。」為「以三十天為限」請查閱本辦法第七條第三款、第七款(如下網址聯結)之規定。
二、注意事項:

1.學生經指派擔任公務活動、參與教學或學術相關活動時可申請公假,應檢具【學生公假申請證明書-公版範本】及相關證明文件,以利師長審核。

(二)學生於請假系統提出申請後,除請假系統即時發送email通知各審核權責師長外,皆應向師長報備並提醒登錄系統線上審核,且應追踨請假單審核進度,避免假單審核流程
超過20天由系統退回。
(三)本校兼任老師登入系統之帳號為「身分證」,密碼為「身分證後四碼+生日後四碼」。

Announcement
of Amended NCKU Regulations for Student Leave of Absence by the Student Assistant Division Under the Office of Student Affairs NCKU Regulations for Student
Leave of Absence (hereafter the Regulations), amended and approved by the student affairs council in the 2024-2025 academic year on June 6, 2025, shall take
effect starting from the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.
Explanations:
I. Key Aspects of Amendments:
(I) In accordance with Item 9, Subparagraph 1, Paragraph 1 under Article 5 of Enforcement Act for Memorial Days and Festivals promulgated by the Ministry of the
Interior, a leave for indigenous rituals and ceremonies is designated in the Regulations for indigenous students as inheritors of their ethnic identity and culture
to safeguard indigenous cultural revitalization and preservation. Please refer to
Articles 3, 5, and 7 of the Regulations (see Appendix 1), which stipulate:
1. Indigenous students are entitled to apply for a leave for indigenous rituals and ceremonies.
2. Applications shall be administered in accordance with the application procedure for official leave, which shall be approved by the department chair (institute or
program director).
3. Applicants are allowed a maximum of five days of leave for indigenous rituals and ceremonies per academic year.
4. Applications shall be submitted with relevant documents.
5. Applications for leave during the end-of-term examination period shall be administered in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulations.
(II) In view of the diverse ethnic and cultural composition of NCKU students, a leave for multiculturalism is designated to promote equality among multiple
ethnicities and cultures as well as to respect and acknowledge cultural differences amid global trends. Please refer to Articles 3, 5, and 7 of the Regulations
(see Appendix 1), which stipulate:
1. All NCKU students are entitled to apply for this leave.
2. Applications shall be approved by course instructors.
3. Applicants are allowed a maximum of two days of leave per academic year.
4. Applications shall be submitted with certificates of participation.
5. Applications for leave during the end-of-term examination period shall be administered in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulations.
(III) In consideration of a more comprehensive administration of the Regulations, leave during the end-of-term examination is regulated for students to apply for
leave application during the end-of-term examination period. Please refer to Articles 3, 6, and 7 of the Regulations (see Appendix 1) for the rules.
(IV) NCKU value and encourage student participation in diverse learning activities (related to teaching or academics). To ensure the safety of students taking official
leave, assignment of students to participate in teaching or academic activities for official purposes will be included among the reasons for official leave.
Meanwhile, the phrase“a maximum of one monthin”Paragraph 3, Article 7 has been revised to“a maximum of 30 days”to ensure consistent terminology
within the Regulations. Please refer to Paragraphs 3 and 7, Article 7 of the Regulations (see Appendix 1) for the rules.
II. Notes:
(I) Based on Subparagraph (IV) under “I. Key Aspects of Amendments”:
1. Students who are assigned to perform official duties or participate in teaching or academic activities may apply for official leave. Applications shall be
submitted with a completed National Cheng Kung University Student Official Leave Approval Form and supporting documents for faculty review.

2. In case of a student official leave with a budget subsidy, students and instructors are recommended to thoroughly read the NCKU Leave Application for

(II) Upon submission of a leave application through the online leave application system, while an email notification will be delivered to responsible faculty members,
applicants shall inform their instructors to review the application. Meanwhile, they should track the application progress for fear that the application will be
returned without review by the system after 20 days of submission.
(III) NCKU adjunct faculty members are allowed to log in to the system with their national ID number as the User Account and a combination of the last four digits
of their national ID number and the last four digits of the birthdate (mm/dd) as the Password.
